The Bovine passport shall be an animal identification document which may be required by the owner of the animal if the animal is exported to another Member State of the European Union or if the Bovine passport is requested by the competent authority of a third country or at the request of the owner.
The owner of the animal (s) may order the bovine passport electronically if the user of the Authorised Section is present.

Process description

  1. Enquiry step
    Users of the LDC Electronic System request the Beef Passport in the authorized section: Orders.

    If the owner of the animal is not a user of the Electronic System, an application shall be made to the Agricultural Data Centre for the manufacture of the bovine passport:
    1. A completed application form may be submitted:
    1.1. The authorisation of the Agricultural Data Centre on its home page through the Single Application System;
    1.2. using the Application Service to the Authority in the www.Latvija.lv portal.

  2. Processing step
    When the request is processed, the user is invoiced for payment and sent to the service interrogator's email

  3. The step
    After payment of the invoice, the bovine passport (s) shall be produced and sent according to the selection of the request.
