Recording of imported breeding animals and their breeding material data

Process description

1. Submission of documents
   Documents required for registration:
   LDC form “Reporting animals for entry into the country” or self-copying declaration for movement of animals, original of the bovine passport (issued by the competent authority of the country concerned), copy of the Internal Trade Certificate (INTRA) (issued by the competent authority of the country concerned).
   A copy of the zootechnical certificate, a DNA study for bulls.

2. Recording data
   After the submission of all necessary documents and the payment of the invoice, the data of the imported breeding animals and/or breeding materials will be registered in the Agricultural Data Centre.

3. View registered data
   The owner of the animals or his authorised person may, by authorising the www.ldc.gov.lv website, verify and verify that all data on imported agricultural animals and/or breeding material are registered with the Agricultural Data Centre in the information system.
